Haha thanks! Always bittersweet tagging out before November in Ohio. I got lucky with how I timed my vacation this year.

I’m thinking about heading to Indiana tomorrow to see if I can stretch my luck.

 

This is my favorite photo of the buck, he will fit in nicely with my others on the wall.

Congrats on the buck ShoeLick. I had a good weekend in Central Wisconsin. I had a 11 point full draw at 16 yards and broadside and I let him walk. He was a nice deer but he is young. It's tough to get them much older around here but hopefully he can live another year or so. I'm sure I will regret it because 11 pointers don't grow on trees. Oh well, can't take back decisions like that. It was still a great weekend.

 

Dang it guys, shot right over a good bucks back doing a spot and stalk.

Welp, back to work for 5 more years to think about what you've done.

That sucks though, he'll be cruising again shortly, luckily short term memory loss is the theme of the next few weeks. Plenty of time

Thanks, and that sounds like a solid hunt! I’m sure being a 2 buck state makes it even harder to pass. Hunting up there is definitely on my bucket list

 

The forecast by me shows a chance of snow on Monday. I’ll forsure be climbing a tree in Indiana somewhere. @foodplot19 hope you can get another crack at him!

 

I plan on being out Tuesday morning. Sounds like the wind will be a little less Tuesday morning.

Yeah it’s saying the same thing here so far. We’ve had a bunch of high winds recently

 

For those who don't follow along im the LFTS thread, I'm unable to hunt fir the foreseeable future. Foot got caught on a pallet at work yesterday and fell fracturing my right wrist. As it stands now no use of my right arm for 4 weeks when I go back in for a follow up x-ray and check up Dec. 1st.

Rut hunting is a no go this year and still have a chance to hunt a draw hunt 2nd half of December. Season ends Jan. 18th but unless I can get to a coworkers property likely won't hunt in January.
