Co-owner of a flooring business here. Specializing in hardwood floors and ceramic tile/custom shower builds. My partner is also a bowhunter, so we will get quite a few early days in so we can hit the woods. Also schedule a couple of Fridays each year to get a long weekend of hunting in.
So what's everyone's realistic guesstimation on points you'll post this season? I'm thinking and hoping to be in the 145-150 point range with a doe included. I sure hope to achieve that or at least the 50 for a doe. But it is hunting and nothing is guaranteed. :D
I forgot to post a pic of the other buck that showed his face to my Moultrie. He's either a wide 4 or 5 can't tell from the angle if he has small g3 on his left beam or not.
I see plenty of does on my lease but not much for bucks. There was a nice 8 spotted last year but I never saw him. So we are in dire need of doe management. I hate to assume numbers especially since I struck out last year, but if I put up 120 total I would be content....not happy but content
Just a quick recap on the team name and voting so far. I scanned the thread as best I could but if I missed one or have something wrong just lemme know. Lets maybe run this through the weekend and will go with total votes on Monday. Currently 4-2 for Top Pin Terrors. I currently work 4-10hr days at work Mon-Thur. I really hope that I keep that schedule throughout the season. 3 day weekends would definitely be nice all season.
I work pretty much 8-5 with an occasional 3-11 mixed in. I usually swap around to get a couple extra 3-11's for some morning hunts. Saw a lot of deer last year so I am hoping for more of the same only with hits and not misses. Lol. Going out Tuesday to pull my camera and see what's out and about. Hope everyone has a killer weekend. Go shooting and get all the bad shot/shanks out of your system. I am doing a little 3-D Sunday for a little extra practice. I'm gonna be running some errands near my hunting area today. Last Friday I moved my camera over an old scrape that was used last year. Then I freshened the scrape and put a Magnum dripper over that scrape. Its been a week and I wanna check it instead of waiting another week. My reasoning is I'd rather go in now than wait until next week because next week is only 2 weeks before season. So basically do you guys think its better to go check it now or just leave it be for the 22 days until opener?
Take the rubber boots along, dont touch anything on your way out there and check that sucker. Oh yeah....and post pics when your done! Sent from my SCH-R760 using Tapatalk 2
Super amped!! My mock scrape is getting hit pretty good. Quite a few does checked it out aswell as the 2 bucks I have in the area. I'm really excited to see the 8 point staying in the area so far. And sure hope my tactics will keep him in play for the early season.
What's really awesome is that every pic I have of the 2 bucks are all during shooting light in the morning. Both times I have gotten them on cam its been just before 7am. They seem to be in the area at the same time almost down to the minute. :D
Nice pics! I don't have access to my hunting property until next week. I'm gonna put out my cams then and check them once the season starts.
Thanks bro. It would drive me crazy not being able to have access to the land I was hunting until so late.
I don't have a regular computer at the moment. My laptop crapped the bed on me so I can't really help with making a team avatar. I have a feeling someone will come up with a sweet one though.
