Happy New Year! Half way through my torcherous drive back to WI from Nashville. It was a crazy party! Remind me not to drive 12 hrs after 2 nights of drinking adult beverages again though.

Thanks dude! Happy new years to you too! I spent all day relaxing, watching college football, and recovering from last night's festivities. I cant imagine driving home from nashville right now haha

Planning on pulling an all day sit on Saturday. Gonna hit the only spot left that I planned to but haven't sat at yet. I have a feeling it may be a good late season spot.

All set and ready. Took a little longer than expected this morning. Hope the weather cooperates with me today.

 

Everything is soaked and its pretty gusty. Not ideal conditions but I can't get one from the couch!

 

I'm glad I have my tree umbrella with me. Supposed to have on and off rains all day. Not to thrilled with that.

 

Wow these gusty swirling winds are horrible!

 

I called out quits about an hour ago. To much rain and wind. Hope to get back there tomorrow evening, weather cooperating hopefully.

 

Well according to AccuWeather this Saturday should be a lot more cooperative for a good hunt. Can't wait to get back out there.

 

I agree, the weather should be calmed down. I cant believe some of the wind/rain we've had over the past week, its unreal. I hope you get one saturday dude, keep at it!

 

So much for the better weather. This rain sucks!! At least its not crazy windy aswell.

 

Got a yearling doe at very last light. She was traveling through with her momma but momma never offered a clear good shot. Here she is. She'll be a great addition to the freezer.

Our season ended today, never made it back out. Mother nature just wouldn't cooperate!

 

Thanks man. Yeah its been crazy weather here aswell. Had very gusty winds today. But at least it wasn't raining like last few weekends.
