I sure hope my 10 seconds comes Friday! Its absolutely perfect this morning but gotta pay the bills instead of hitting the woods this morning.

 

By what the weather is saying tomorrow should be a good day for me to be out. Slight chance of a shower but other than that it should be a good day.

 

I'm headed to camp in MI tonight. A 900sq ft cabin with 13 brothers, cousins and uncles. No need to bring a gun for this guy. Most of us don't make it out too the woods. Can't wait!

I'm sure ill get 50 more points on the board before the contest is over. Keep plugging away guys

I'm taking my 6 yo out for a little rifle hunt tomorrow afternoon. That kid has been dying to go hunting all year long so I can't wait. The one joy I get from rifle season is not worrying so much about how quiet he is and just enjoying the time with him.

 

Just got back to the truck and plugged my phone in. The battery crapped the bed on me earlier. The only thing I saw today was 3 tails bounding away at about 80 yards or so. Then about 15 mins after that a muzzleloader hunter walks up through.

Dec. 1 starts shotgun season here in RI. Can't wait to brake the Ithica 12guage out.

Have fun Matt. I was just up in cheboygan county MI for a rifle hunt. Only saw two does in the three days we hunted. I wasn't expecting to see a ton of deer, but man it was slow. Hopefully you have better luck.

 

Nothing to report guys. I hunted my butt off for 7 straight days, taking only one morning off. I saw more deer and rutting behavior during yesterday's gun season at another property than all those days combined. Maybe I should have spent more time there last week, I don't know.
I was mentally and physically spent, and slept for 15 hours today!
I'm not done by a long shot, already making plans for a long weekend after Thanksgiving

 

Got a buck last night. But it was with my gun. First one this year and first one in a year.

 

Still a nice buck regardless man. Congrats. Sometimes we need a morale kill. The way my season is going I'd dang near be happy killing one with my Toyota. Lol
