I've seen a couple scruffy little bucks but nothing more that 4 points. Nothing to write home about for sure.

Well just to update everyone on my end of it. Due to medical concerns with a family member I've had to move my schedule around because of a lack of daycare which means I don't have hardly any time to go out. The silver lining is that no one on my lease has taken anything.

I had been having issues with the setup on my 101st and frustration was setting in. Since I was going to be out of the game for a while I went ahead and sold it to fund another bow. Things fell right into line for me and I sealed the deal on a Centroid over the weekend. I'll have it on hand this week and will spend the next two weeks practicing and dialing in to be ready when I get back out in two weeks. This has been a very trying season thus-far but it's going to turn around in two weeks and we're going to put a nanny on the ground.

So keep grinding gang and look forward to hearing how everyone else is doing.

Keep plugging away Eric, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Luckily the season is long and there are plenty of deer out there to shoot, you'll get one soon. I'll be going out tomorrow morning, hopefully. I've been battling a sinus infection for a while so I'll see how I feel when the alarm goes off at 4am

Well as you guys probably saw my brother shot a buck the other night, now that means one less person in the woods the rest of the season!

Not really. Work has been crazy lately, so im not nearly as prepared as I'd hoped to be. Hunting a new property too, so not sure what to expect. I have seen deer on my trail cams in recent weeks....so that's promising at least. Unfortunately, the weather forecast for saturday is calling for mid 80's. Not ideal. Hope to get out at least once next week depending on work schedule, then I'll miss the second saturday while i'm in new jersery running in the Tough Mudder. So, kinda slow start to the season for me. sucks.

    Good luck guys.
I have a wedding Friday night, so I wont be heading out until Saturday for my first sit in Illinois. Too hot the next few days anyways, and a real nice cold front is coming in this weekend, I can't wait.

Acorns are dropping around my areas like crazy. Sounds like a hail storm practically.

Yeah I couldn't even be quiet going into the stand the other night cuz all I heard was crunch crunch crunch under my feet. The deer are probably getting up, walking 10 ft, eating and laying back down.
