I use a phone app called scoutlook. It lets u enter pretty much all of those things. It also gives you a scent cone which shows u what areas where your hunting is being affected by your scent. And you can look in the future which helps me decide which stand to sit in. It was like 3 bucks when i downloaded it

I have an app. that is basically a GPS that tracks highways, droppings, food sources, stand locations etc. The purpose of the journal is more or less to be able to read my notes from seasons past and bring myself back to that exact day. Like "today I saw a hawk perched on a branch at 7:15, he swooped down and killed a chipmunk, I thought it was cool" type of thing. I guess more for the sentimental value, yet educational for future seasons. My dad is always telling me to journal all of my fishing and hunting adventures so that I'll have them for when I'm older to learn from and to reflect on the past.

I use the same app. Its a good little tool to have. As long as you have service where your hunting that is.

I've also thought of doing this type of journal aswell. Not to sure if I'll actually do it or not this season but its a possibility in the future.

This is the first year I am trying one. I picked up one of the CX models. It's ok but not really impressed so far.

I'm really pleased with the Nockturnals so far. Had 2 in the pack that are a little loose, not too bad, but I think I have a remedy for that.

Gut feeling, who puts our team on the board first? I start the 16th, Rem starts the 15th. I'm going with my gut on this one and say that Rem has a slammer of an opening day

Thanks guys. I am in the stand as we speak. Absolutely perfect morning. No wind at all and a cool 57 degree start. Loving it. Hopefully I can score quick and get up on the board early. Will try to provide live from the stand updates.

Sorry for not updating the thread sooner. Hectic afternoon. Not in a good way though. All I saw were squirrels. Lol. Just gotta keep grinding and get it done.
