Guys i took off work yesterday and hunted. Between 2 days i've seen 13 bucks and 18 doe. By far the best start i've ever had. If this keeps going i'm bound to get in nice buck in front of me

Set up some Mock Scrapes on Monday, temps are dropping tonight and should have 50-60 degree weather tomorrow. I will be in stand tomorrow night looking for a buck, does are on hold till after October 24th.
My weekend sucked. I went from seeing lots of bucks and doe's to seeing 2 doe and 5 hunters. All of the big bucks are back to the neighboring sanctuary, maybe the rut will pay off. I guess its back to my long walks on the public land, every smaller spot i have is filled with other hunters who dont scout, watch the wind, etc. I had 2 boneheads walk up to within 50 yards of me yesterday in cutoff tshirts. They put a tinks bomb out down wind of a bedding area and proceeded to grunt really loud until they finally heard me whistling.
Whats going on guys? Anyone have any updates? I will get out tomorrow, and all weekend... Pretty jacked up over the hunting time coming my way. Weather isn't looking the best though, very high winds tomorrow... Clear and sunny sat and sun. (I do not care for clear and sunny at all) Cut in a stand today since it was raining pretty good I snuck in and got it done. This is a killer setup for sure. I probably won't hunt it for at least 10 days. I want the bucks to be cruising before I sit it. Looking forward to see what all THE BBKers put down this fall. Good luck!
We have a 4 day gun, doe only hunt going on this weekend here that means no hunting for me this weekend.I'm watching the weather here just waiting for a front to move through until then I'm sitting in limbo.Good luck to everyone hunting.
