I've never not drawn a tag... last year I put in for Region R and drew that as well. There are several regions with great deer hunting that aren't difficult to draw.

Riding my bike to work this morning and watched several does eating my grumpy neighbors garden. Ha ha! wished I had a camera I would have put the picture on a christmas card and mailed it to him. I gaurantee that camers going in the saddle bags tonight.

I am here guys. Through limited summer scouting, I haven't yet seen anything in my local haunts to get me excited, but I will be Mule deer hunting in Colorado early September and I'll be hunting on a friend's ranch down south for this guy in early October.

I took this picture right at the end of last year's season and didn't shoot him because he was broken up. Hopefully, he has made it through the year.

Regardless, I am looking towards the upcoming season as always. Good luck to all.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that I was supposed to shoot anything with a rack on top, like those baskets your holding. I'll give you the 06' buck, he took 3 quarters to come in. I've passed on a few like that little 8 your holding there. So to accomodate you, I'll lower my standards and whack whatever comes by.

That little 8 just happens to have a story behind it, other than the story that is bigger than any bow buck you've shot in ten years:busted:. The other two are 114" and 127" and definitely not the biggest deer, but again, bigger than any bow deer you've shot:busted:. And it ain't much to say that you'll lower your standards when you never see deer:busted:.

You know I love you though, you have reservations to come out and hunt there with me any time.

OK my friends, went to see Grandpa for his 84th today and stopped to get my license and tags. Oct 1-4th are secured off from work and I am ready. The Diploma also showed up yesterday so the damn Bachelor's degree will not get in the way. The only thing that can hurt me is the job promotion and I went kinda Office Space in the interview to reduce my chances of working weekdays 5 hours from home;)
