Actually, well now it's Justin not being at work that's keeping us out of first place. I'm not sure where Matt's deer puts them.

Been seeing lot of bucks cruising this week. The rut is definately on right now. Been seeing more action during the midday that dusk or dawn even. Good luck guys! I'll be out again on Saturday

Good deal Joey, I'll be in Kansas again this weekend... up around Marysville. Had a great weekend last week, hope the wind will chill out a little bit this weekend.

Marysville isn't too far from here. Looks like it'll be a little cooler but still breezy on Saturday.

I talked to my dad last night. He hunted about 150 yards from my stand last night. He said the same big 10 with a droptine milled around under my stand for 5-10 minutes. It killing me that we're not able to get out in the weekdays... but it's good to hear they're confortable with that particular spot. Hopefully this weekend will be good

Alright boys, I expect the does to start falling here after the rut is finished... we need our last 150 points and it should be close at the end!

Weather has been horrible here. Had a major snow storm and a few days later a major rain with 25-40mph winds on and off. I have some buttons patterned but haven't had a clean mature doe shot lately. Do I take a button since I will no longer be able to hunt this spot after this year??

Our last gun season will wrap up on Tuesday. Be patient killer. Gun season around these parts is a pretty big fiasco.... I will not be in the woods with all the lead slinging :violin:
