Hey guys. I have some good news and some bad news:bash: :bash: :bash:

I had a bad gym day today. I am not sure how serious yet, I have aftermarket pain killers masking the true damage at this point. Something popped in my damn elbow again while I was getting my swell on and it is killing me. Two years ago I fractured the same elbow and had some ligament damage to boot. This has had a slight effect on my ability to be in the zone today, I'll update everyone in the next few days to let you know how things are going, currently it doesn't hurt to type but if I rotate my wrist and hand 180 degrees pain shoots from my elbow like nobody's business.

The good news is that nothing is going to keep me out of the tree! If I killed a solid 8 pointer with a fractured elbow this ain't gonna stop me! BBK 4 LIFE!

I have to ration them, they are leftover from when the wife had kidneystones twice last year though I think she also has another bottle of something else besides those three bottles. In all seriousness though it is feeling a little better today so hopefully just aggravated it. The wife is a non practicing state certified radiation tech and thinks there is a tendon that I might have slightly torn or something.

That's rough man... Don't tell anyone that I said this, but I "know a guy" that has a whole bottle of little red pills that make you "hurt no more." He's a pretty tough guy and didn't take any after his shoulder surgery :d Regardless of what you do... get that thing back in action!!!

Sorry, ben spending time on the treadmill getting my cardio on and getting into the zone. I got a week until I do this and I am fricken ready. I'm tired of all these other teams with their sissy claims of rain, heat, pancreases hurting, staying up too late drinking. Game time chief, it's on!!!!

It feels good to finally get back in the field. Season opened on Monday, and my wife has been hunting with the ML. We had a real close call on a big buck last night, at last light, but couldn't get a clear shot. We have other plans tonight, but will be headed back out tomorrow evening. I think we've figured out their feeding routes though.

I probably won't be out with the bow until around Oct 13th or so. ML Hunting & a trip to Canada will take up the rest of the time until then. Good luck to you guys out hunting!

Opening day is looking good boys, I am in the zone and my gear is ready to go. I can see the walk in at 5:30AM and the critters are starting to stir. I can smell the morning air with a slight 40 degree chill, my Katera in my hand and my pack on my back. I'm back home in less than 34 hours, it's great to finally see it's here!
