here we go...about freaking time a likely shooter showed up in WI. I would definitely shoot this guy if he's still in velvet next week just because I want a velvet buck...probably shoot him clean too but not sure:



also saw my first hard horn of the year. Little forkie had one side stripped clean.
Full-ish moon and/or cool temps had them on their feet last night. Probably had 20 or so different deer on cam, several 2.5yo basket 8s.

 

I was bored on my trip. I like the Judged by 12 name. Messing with some ideas

 

I’ve shot Schwackers for a long time. Never had an issue with them.

 

These are the 3 bucks I’m after this year. The big one I had on camera all last summer as well. He became an absolute ghost right after shedding velvet last September. Hopefully he doesn’t do the same this year.

I haven't seen many bucks this year on my farm. A few bachelor groups of basket racks. The good ones wont show up for a few months.

 

I'll be killing that monster.

Did a check of the cams today. Pretty much the same bucks. This 8 pointer, I'm guessing either 2 or 3 was probably the best one. Also had my first hard horned buck.

 

If he doesn't check in here real soon, we'll take the alternate.
