Button buck came through at sunset lol

 

Caught the neighbor shooting deer on our property. He shot after dark really close to me so I went to investigate. Trying to remain civil with the guy as we've been neighbors a long time but i also dont want him shooting at deer on my property lol

 

WOW !!!! I have been there with a neighbor that we had problems for years with. We had to get a lawyer involved to put an end to my neighbors shinanagins. Since he passed we now thankfully have great new neighbors.

 

It is rather frustrating because he should know better. He's lived there for 20+ years and knows he doesn't have permission to hunt any of the property around him.

 

I like the guy that comes walking by when your in the stand and he asks me if I have permission to be here on my own property. I had that happen years ago on the family farm. Then when he figured out he screwed up he's like oh, I thought this was still so and so's property. Then I find out he didn't have permission on that property either. Some people just drive you nuts.

 

I can only imagine how fustrating that must be for you. I have to wonder what else he has done or will do in the future based on his actions so far. I'm so sorry your are having to deal with this guys actions.

 

I think alot of guys fall back on ignorance when caught red handed. They know better, just easier to axt ignorant.

Looking to maybe make it out this evening depending on the weather.

 

Well i came up sick on thanksgiving & spent 2 days sick. Then a nasty snow storm arrived yesterday with 6 inches of snow. This morning it is cold windy & icey out so looks like maybe a few days before i will be back out hunting

 

Nppe we ended up with 8.5 inches of snow and then we got another 3 inches on top of that
The state dosent plow the hunter parking areas so i wont be getting back put there to hunt till it melts some. I got stuck in the snow out there before & not doing that again. Day after tomorrow is 4 day firearm season & i dont gun hunt followed by brutal cold for a few days so i might not get to hunt until late next week possibly or the week after. This sucks

 

When does your season end?

I won’t be back at it until mid December. Gun season this week the I wait for things to calm down a bit and the work schedule will keep me out of the woods til then. Keep pressing in everyone, still lots of time to win this.
