    Finally had some action myself this morning. Nothing in range, but saw 5 different bucks, 1 was a shooter, other 4 looked to be 1 and 2 year old! Can't wait to get back out this afternoon!

    Back working till Wednesday to hunt Thursday and Friday, possibly sunday. May have to modify due to better weather days but feel like i need to be aggressive with a gun hunt this weekend. Had this buck at about 47 yards feeding, but was positive there was brush covering the vitals. Im on 2 others as big or bigger. Hoping for the weather to cooperate a lil more but not expecting much help. It's November!!! Lets GO!!

    Awesome ,Congrats !!! Cant wait to see him. I ground hunted yesterday afternoon had this no brow tines six at 4 yards and he never busted me, he isnt what im looking to shoot. Was still a fun hunt.

    Congratulations on a great buck

    I was about to enter it when I noticed semething odd about your score sheet. The subtotal is 147 and change but the gross score is higher than the subtotal, which should add up to the gross score.

    Am I missing something?

    Disclaimer: I am in a climber right now with no reading glasses.


    EDIT: I think I figured it out: The abnormal inches aren’t included in the subtotal column totals. See? I don’t know everything. :lol:

    Subtotal is the net score, not gross. Gross score is correct at 155, I have already entered it.

    I figured it out after my post. I had someone else run the numbers for me and we figured out that the abnormal totals are added between the subtotal and the gross score.

    I didn’t know that, but I do now.

    That being said, the subtotal is most definitely not the net score.

    Congratulations again on a great buck!

    Thanks guys! Not much history with this particular deer. I have had him on cam for a couple of months but he was always nocturnal. I got a daylight photo of him with a doe and shot him about 1/4 mile away from the photo. I was banking on that doe dragging him to the food source and she came through. I have it all on video. I have a couple of monsters on cam at another spot still to target.

    Won't have score till next week but prob like 65 if I'm lucky.

    Apologies for not posting much on thy team thread. I'm a LFTS junkie usually anyway, but this season signal has been really spotty.

    I'm still in the fight to shoot a big dog but unfortunately he won't count to the team score. But at least I contributed over 100

    LFG Team 12!!!

    This puts us in the thick of things. Take out a few more doe's and a couple more decent bucks and we'll be at or near the top when it's all said and done!
