Target acquired, been getting pics of this real nice 10 and hope to cross paths with him this season. Got a couple of others on cam here that are nice. Went out yesterday to ground hunt and was covered up in does and a spike all morning. So here are video of the 10.

 

Once again, nothing this morning. So frustrating. Cameras have a ton of activity at night pretty much dead during any daylight. I'll be back out Saturday morning and evening.

 

Not yet, been helping my landowner. Travel back home tomorrow so hopefully then I can get a tape on it.guessing 120 ish.

 

I’m done so just watching deer in the stand today. I had a nice 10 walk right under my stand yesterday evening. Would have been a chip shot at 5 yards. Don’t think inch wise he was much bigger than the 8 I got. Attached is the photo of him walking into my stand. Also had a buck bed down in front of my camera. Possibly bigger than the one I got. Looking forward to coming back here for rifle season.

Nada this morning. Will be back out this evening. May be hunting with my grandson!

 

Not sure if I'll be out Sunday at all. If I am it will only be an evening hunt. I should be back at it on Monday though.

Out in stand for the evening. Wasn't planning a hunt for today but it just felt right. 60 and breezy, temp dropping steadily all evening.

 

I pulled an all day hunt after gettin 2 different bucks pushing does on 2 cameras. Saw 10 does this morning ( probably a couple 2x) and 6 of them bedded down inside 60. 2 stood up as i started repelling down. Got all the way down with them at 25 yards b4 the hopped off. Never blew.
8 pt i missed last year was on camera early this morning

 

Update: I shot this buck tonight at 6:30. Tracked him for about 100yds and blood got spotty. I'll have to look tommorow. Im guessing I hit shoulder.

Another new buck just showed up on camera. Only have 1 decent pick of him.

 

back home after not seeing any mature bucks all weekend, only to get a very fuzzy but pretty convincingly large buck on camera at 4:50p. Just my luck.

Should be back at it Wednesday. Going to spend a couple days on leave with the wife before I go back into the woods.
