I’d say about 20% of the bucks I’m getting on camera are hard horn right now. It’s right on pace with what I’ve seen in prior years, usually the majority of them will be done in this area by the seventh or eighth of September.
Ive been trying to come up with a avatar, but having a hard time. I will keep working on it also. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Yeah, but there's no power lines or anything here, just woods. I'll have to look around next time to see what they actually did. They knocked over my Buckstik...jerks!
Hopefully just a 1 day deal and they are out of there. Got some time for it to settle down at least. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Btw I’m good with this one if everyone else is. For comedic relief if nothing else ha Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
That's a quality image that I can support. The other idea of having a 12 pt buck instead of the number would be great, too. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
Sorry guys. Checkng in if it's not too late. Rob from Ohio. Been busy with getting 3 kids in to college and my brother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and have been trying to take care of him. Honestly haven't done much in preparation for the season. I lost two properties I hunted to sales and picked a small place from a friend at work. Been talking to local park district manager about some of the parks in the county. There are 4 or 5 that have over 200 acres to hunt. Open to bowhunting. Closed for gun seasons. Now that kids are in college, should have more time to get out. Get a couple cameras out at the new place. Go walk a few of the parks. Will spend some time here going through the thread to get caught up. Good luck everyone this season.
Glad you made it bud! We are all here! Look into the hunter access program in your area also. I hunt a decent amount of it in my area. It’s also bow hunting only and you can have properties to yourself for that day at least. I try not to tell many people about it ha. Sorry to hear about your brother. I’m sure he will be happy to know you’re out doing what you love this season. I know my family would. But anyway welcome man! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
