I see that you are correct. I thought there was space there between the lung and spine, but apparently not. You would be correct sir, must be backstrap or just one lung, some how. The shot does not appear to far foward.

We on the board fellas!!!!! Last light tonight. Came stomping in at a doe and stopped at my mock scrape. Quartering too but snuck it in and he didn't go 100 yards. He ain't tall but he sure is wide!!!!

Well got skunked today. Low pressure and warm. Didn’t expect much ha. I got drafted into work Friday night so won’t get to go back out until Saturday. I was out on the town with my camo hat and had a local farmer ask me to kill all his deer. It's probably too good to be true, but I'm going to stop by soon and have a chat with him!
