Though I can't add more points, I'll be in a NJ tree this afternoon.

PS, one of us has an arrow in a nice Buck. LFTS!

I shot a nice 10 this morning...at least I think he's one of the big ones. Here's my post from LFTS.

Well...no buck. We tracked great blood for 250 yards and then the arrow broke off, leaving about 10" of shaft and broadhead in him. He dripped blood for another 200 yards before bedding down. No sign after that.

All the local dogs are busy, so I'm going to be the guy who calls a drone. They'll be out around 6:30.

Shot was 28 yards from the ground. He was probably 6 feet lower than me in elevation. Slightest quarter away. I hit high front lung and stuck it in the opposite shoulder.

I only really paid attention to his left side. Hoping it's the giant 10, but now I'm thinking it's this guy...

Found him still alive after 12 hours. Shot looks fine. That's actually my broadhead sticking out the right side. 875 yards from shot. He got up and laid right back down.

Whats the next plan of action? Leave over night and try and locate him tomorrow?

Good luck man! Hopefully he’s right there tomorrow and you can get another one in him if he’s still kicking.

I had an absolute rut frenzy tonight! 20+ deer night and had the droptine buck come through. Dad saw the giant but he never made it over to me. Can’t wait to get back out there in the morning!

The shot looks pretty darn good! I guess 1 lung, if it has to be something.

I'm going in at 8am and hoping he's right there.

    It IS the big guy!

Good luck in the morning airenlow!

I'm two all days sits deep and have another planned for tomorrow and Sunday. Then it’s back to work for me. Nearly killed a good one this morning, but he just didn’t come quite close enough.

Good luck to the rest of you guys, hope to see more dead bucks here soon!

Good luck in the search airenlow that’s a great buck!

Absolute nightmare morning…key broke off my key fob to my car somewhere and didn’t know it. Had another one do the same thing a couple years ago…had the piece of key in the car of all places. Of course fobs battery was dead in the half that I had lol. Had to use a 2032 battery and some aluminum foil to get my car unlocked hahahah. Finally got in the tree around 9. Whole pack of yote come through. Was planning for an all day sit but at this point i think I need to come out. Reset. And go back In for the evening with a fresh mind.

No luck! He wasn't there and we couldn't even find his bed from last night. The drone GPS is supposed to be accurate to 15 feet. We checked the ridges on either side of last night's spot too. Dogs don't want to help. My brother is driving 6 hours to help me look tomorrow. I might still call the drone back to see if we can prove he's alive somewhere.

Well decided to just send it back here in the bedding. Winds swirling everywhere ha but we have rain all day tomorrow so I figured I’d get aggressive and maybe it’d wash a lot of my scent from today away. All in fellas

Ended up seeing 9 deer and no shooters. Beginning to think I might not even be in the same area code as the big boys ha. I did get a picture of a deer I’ll shoot the other night. Crazy to me I’m seeing 6-10 doe a night and only little dudes with them. Sitting tomorrow out with the rain all day. Back at it all day Monday.

We looked around some more, by last night's bed, with no luck. The drone came back out tonight and found him alive again. He only moved 250 yards in 24 hours but his head was still up and alert. We're sneaking in to that spot in the morning. Hoping he's dead but prepared to finish the job or grid search.

This has been the worst rollercoaster ever...I want off!
