I use OnX. I mostly just need it for property lines and private landowner names, occasionally a track and last blood location.

Headed to NJ in 2hrs. Be in a tree this afternoon. Have to shoot 2 Doe there, but will also be looking for a Buck since I have a Doe down already. So pretty much everything is on the menu. Will hopefully be a fun 4 days.

Good luck bud! T minus 2 days for me! The stepson is sick so he will be sitting out this weekend since he’s been missing school. So I’ll be a Lone Ranger.

Good luck to all you guys with openers this weekend! This should be my last two day weekend for awhile. Hopefully the overtime pays off because that last few weeks of work have been terrible. I see some cold front coming in next week and the lows getting down into the 30's with a much needed wind switch. We've had one good wind day in three weeks but should start to see more N, NW winds from here on out.

Wind will be terrible for the private farm I can hunt. Especially for a morning sit. Probably going on an observation sit a good ways away from where I’m planning on hunting tomorrow evening. Decent chance a doe still comes by though. Gonna be raining so they’ll have to be close for me to shoot. Can’t wait to be in a tree!

All our sports got cancelled due to the storm, but the rain is going to keep me out of the woods. I'll get hardcore at some point...

Well fellas I seen a fair share of deer today. Everything was just so dang little. Almost sent it on a little doe but decided not to last second. Decent opening day though! 10 deer total seen.

I didn't see a deer til last 30 minutes. Then a decent 7 pt got up. Nice looking buck, just not what I'm looking for. Probably in that 100-105 inch range. He did have a nice chocolate rack also.

I didn’t see an antler today. Which was surprising this morning. Did see a very sick doe coughing her head off and drooling all over the place. I was hoping she would come close enough to be able to put her down. She was in rough shape. Assuming ehd. Was headed for a ditch.

Thats always sad to see. I had one like that by house this summer. She would come out 3 or 4 hours before dark to feed. And would eat real close to the house. I could walk within 15 yards of her. Then just disappeared one day. Assuming she died.

I have a Buck on camera, he's skin and bones 7-8pts, looks ancient. If he comes by I will probably shoot him, but I'm also not sure I'd eat him. He looks bad on camera.
