finished my last all day sit yesterday, let a small buck walk and saw some doe. Although I would like to a camping hunting trip with some buddies if we can get lucky with cooperating weather

Sorry I’ve been mia guys. There’s been a lot of “life” happening lately for me. To those still out grinding, good luck! There’s a lot of good hunting left to be had as long as Mother Nature brings some cold weather come late season.

I'll be back out a few hours Thursday , Friday and Saturday from the blind with the bow in VT. Sunday I'll probably do an all day walk with the rifle. Had a daylight walker 8pt on November 11 at 1630 in the turnip and radish plot. No hunting in VT that day and I was in NJ.

I would almost hate to shoot a buck in VTwith bow cause the 8pts are almost always small 75-100". But it would also be a real trophy as I've only shot 1 bow buck in 30yrs here. It's really tough to bow hunt deer here as they just dont pattern in the big woods. The potential for a big buck is so much better in NJ, but it's getting later in the game. Decisions decisions.

How’s New Jersey for public land to hunt? I have an uncle in Denville and always thought about a road trip to visit. Only thing is he has a cabin in Minnesota that he comes for summer then heads back usually in November. I’ve thought of driving him home then flying home from there as another option too. Probably won’t happen, but curious to know what potential would be

Theres alot of public land in NJ. WMA'S, State Parks and Forrests, County Parks, Local Green Acres , and Federal Lands. Some are wide open, some you need permits, some are bow hunting only. Just need to do your research to locate the land. It's really good hunting.

Nice looking bass twitch! I have a buddy who does well on big largemouths.

I'll have a few more days to hunt than I thought in the very near future. It ain't over yet!

    Go get emm man!!

Ya I fish quite a bit... Usually get in a couple tournaments a year for fun. Just not a lot of big bass lakes here in Indiana. It’s kinda a crappy state to fish in.

I love the bass bite, dont have a nice boat or anything but I take the jon boat out to a few local events here usually around 30 boats, always a good time! I would love to save up (and get better) and fish some open events with a buddy. There is a few good lakes within a few hours of me.

Drilled this little doe 30 minutes before last light. Watchdd her drop and in the excitement decided to pack up while i still had light and start dragging her out. Unfortunately had a huge 10 work his way into 9 yards after i lowered my bow lmao. I can shoot two deer a sit in NJ and hadnt punched my buck tag yet so all i could do was stare at my bow on the ground. Just feels good to get a deer on the ground and ill be back in stand Monday![IMG][IMG][IMG]
