Waiting on the details but I have allegedly won a whitetail hunt in Kentucky this fall. Hopefully details to follow.
Hey those bucks are looking good !! And here's a little bit more about me ! I was busy when I made my previous post ! My name is Galen and I'm 18 yrs old love to bow hunt whenever I get the Chance to ! I am from Millersburg Ohio but we are in the process of moving so that will change within about a month ! But I hunt down in coshocton county ohio ! Home of the big bucks I also hunt other locations but that is where most of my hunting is done ! I have a few decent deer on camera but most of the action on my cameras is during the night ! Still they are around ! So hopefully I can see one of them this fall with my bow in hand this should be allot of fun ! Looks like a good group of guys !
David from Manhattan KS checking in! I will be enjoying the wildlife that NE Kansas has to offer. Mainly Riley County. Got a couple good deer on camera and hoping to get a few more this weekend when I check some cameras.
I'll be hunting on a small piece of turf that so far has really only holds does. There is about 6 that I see on a regular basis but I'm hoping that when the rut comes on that will bring in a buck. I'm not holding my breath that'll be anything real big, heck I'll be happy to get a deer with a bow. Other than that I'll probably take a climber out on some public lands. Nothing like what Tom showed.
I hunted Fort Riley a few years ago and saw some MONSTERS. I had a 180" come in while I was hanging my camera arm right after hanging a stand. He came out of a thicket and worked his way toward the creek. Cole lives right by Riley.
*** Team 12 *** This is the old guy I am after this year. I have been hunting Fort Riley for three years now and have seen some big deer. None of which came in range unfortunately. I love it though because there is so much area to hunt. I live five minutes from the gate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I will have to look at a map. I was next to the cove looking across it you could see the road. There was a rock wall and a tree line I was set up in and CRP to the west. and there were a couple of creeks that went down to the cove. I saw a couple of really good bucks there. It wasn't open all of the time that year. A guy could shoot a BRUISER there if they had the time.
David, I live off of Anderson, west of Blueville Nurseries if you know where that is. We will have to meet up sometime. Especially when we kill some deer, I have a nice butcher shop in my yard I like to indulge in some adult beverages while butchering, if you're interested
Cole, that sounds like good. I live off of Eureka just north of the airport. I too like to enjoy a few adult beverages when I butcher. Makes it all that much more enjoyable. Tom, yeah we have some good spots we will be hunting this year and the oaks in my early season areas are producing pretty good so I am hoping to have a good year. Its nice when some of those area are not open the entire year and or season. It takes pressure of those deer.
Don't let him fool you...his "butcher" shed is nicer than some peoples cabins...dude is obviously single and rolling in the doe still haha!
