Got out this morning for a few hours. saw Mom and 2 babies. I refuse to take a mom away from the young. so I watched them for a while then had to leave for work.
Heading out in the morning again

Thanks guys. It's nice to be able to relax a little finally. This is the longest I have ever had to hunt for a buck, but I also learned quite a bit about the property while doing so.

I always get a kick out of your trophy pics.....makes one think you despise hunting with the stone inmate style face :D

 I just feel awkward in pictures in general, especially when I'm the only one in them. I have noticed that my smile is basically just a smirk on the right side of my face, and with the recent mustache addition it's hard to see

Got my buck officially on the scoreboard today. He ended up going 133 inches Gross. If he had not broke that G2 off he would have grossed close to 140 and been a P&Y. Ill still enter him in Buckmasters (BTR). Try to get another deer down soon either Bow or Crossbow.

So far they have only counted jimolsson's, iHunt and Kansasfever's buck and doe for each of them. For everyone else that has submitted a deer in the contest find your entry and it will let you know what you are missing to get the points.

Thanks I just updated it this evening. I actually forgot to add in the 4th circumference measurement the first time and he is score is a little higher not much but every inch helps.

Just curious, I'm seeing a G2 on both sides. Is there a 2" busted tine there, actually making him a 9?

Yes he broke off his G2 it's unfortunate cause he woud have grossed over 140 easily and netted 130s with ease. When you bust a time you loose a lot in deductions at least in this case. He will go Buckmasters either way. I like their system better it's just gross score no deductions and no inside spread counted.

If there's a 2" busted tine there, then you should have a G4 measurement on that side right? Was he a 9 point?

I think for confusion sake we should just score it as a fergie clause and do 50 points
