Going out Sunday. Should have on on the board. the doe to buck ratio is a bit lop sided where i will be at. I would say from what I have seen in person over the last few weeks about 15-1 female over male.

Not my bow kill but I figured I would share it with yall ! This is my sisters first ever deer with a compound bow and only her third deer to date ! So you can imagine how pumped she was , her bows only set on about 42lbs and she claimed she was shaking so bad it took her three tries to get it back to full draw! Im super happy for her and theres no question she's hooked to the world of hunting with a compound bow! It also feels good to know that I chose the correct spot to hang the treestand, I just put in this new set the night before and it has already paid off! Looks like I need to get something on the ground before she gets another one, I cant let her shoot more deer then me

Got off of work tomorrow so This Friday and saturday I will get to hunt both days guys ! Wish me luck, Would be happy with a doe to atleast get some meat in the freezer !
Went out Wednesday and Thursday night seen a nice buck Wednesday and I think a doe at last light. Both were too far for shots though. Thursday I didn't see any. Hunting a different property this weekend, was planning on going over to spend the night but way to foggy to drive so I won't be going in the morning but afternoon hopefully something comes out. Hoping to get a doe but never know when the bucks will appear.
Went out this morning and it was foggy! No matter I got to see two brutes hanging out together at sixty yards. Definately not in my range and we're not interested in coming any closer. Still cool nonetheless. They are starting to get active fellas! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Been out a few times, haven't seen any deer in the daylight since I missed that one. Hitting a different stand tomorrow, hope to see something.
Time to start hammering! I'm going out tomorrow and then Sunday thru Thursday I'm off and hunting 5 days straight! Couldn't be more excited for the next 10 days!
The rut is here, I had a few bucks chasing does right underneath me and the deer were on the move. And I also blew my chance at the biggest buck I have had a chance at to date... I am really angry at myself now but hopefully I can make up for it here soon.
I will be on a vacation for the next week so I will not be on or in the woods. Sorry. I plan on putting in much more time after Mext Monday. Good luck guys.
I leave Friday night to take my son on a 2 day youth hunt in Missouri. Hopefully he will shoot one Saturday so I can make it back to my lease in Minnesota for Sunday night.
Here is the buck I passed a few weeks ago because I didn't know how old he was. I try not to shoot unless I think he is at least 4 years old. I couldn't tell until I saw the pictures of him. I have pictures of this buck on 7 different cameras in the last 3 weeks.
