That's funny, I've been a correctional officer for going on 3 years now. Definitely see some interesting stuff. I work in Lincoln at the women's max facility.

I work in the both the assembly and shipping/receiving departments of a high precision CNC machine shop.

Part time, I'm a youth ministry coordinator for my church. Working and teaching high school aged kids is something new to me. I'm well outside my box on this one.

Got the sight tapes in the mail todayfor the single pin sight I bought. I had a little time to shoot today and got it pretty dialed in out to 40. Hoping I can manage to get a good grouping out to 60 so that the tape for my bow is as accurate as possible. I've never practiced out that far before. Attached is my 40 group. I must say I like the single pin a lot as I have a much easier time focusing with just the one pin.[IMG]

Looks like some pretty good shooting.

I'm working on fine tuning my new single pin as well. I plan on stopping at the range after work today.

i struggle with eye focus when shooting, i have a 3 vertical pin sight and that has helped compared to the horizontal pins.

this might (is) be a laziness thing but my peep need to be adjusted, when i look through my peep it partially blocks part of the sight housing, like looking through a cheap scope with the black on the sides.
    that distracts my eye too.

also i just bought a cheapo trail cam from menards (God bless 11% rebate week) because we found a new travel way the deer made, going to get this camera put up next time i get take the 5 hours to drive down set cam and drive back.

not sure i mentioned previously but we also made a horizontal cedar run post last Friday

anybody on the team use a crossbow?

I have a recurve crossbow that I take out occasionally. I've never gotten anything with it yet because 95% of the time I will choose a vertical bow. Kinda fun to mix things up a little bit though

I've never used one because I prefer to use my compound. However, depending on how things play out this year, I might try out a friends in the late season. I don't have money right now for the best base layers etc so when it gets cold out I get a little bulky. I'm not going to hunt with my compound if I don't feel comfortable drawing and executing the shot.
