Finally back out here. My state park quota hunt has begun and so far it is not going well... rain... constantly... and so far seen 1 deer... 200 yards away going the wrong direction... but spirits are high. I'm back out again today. I moved my ground blind setup on my beans last week and in my first sit a few days later had several nice size does directly in front of where the blind used to be lol. Hopefully the deer will cooperate tonight a little better. My cams have been really slow the past two weeks in terms of nice bucks. My beans don't have too much left of then either. Got a Christmas party with the family today but I plan to be out tomorrow afternoon/evening. My archery tag expires at the end of this month. I'm really feeling the time crunch. Looks like my season ends this year with a big steaming bowl of tag soup, a woulda-coulda-shoulda sandwich, and a glass of reasons n excuses. Not a happy meal.
