Trying to decide if I should hunt in the morning. Don’t have a large piece of land to hunt and between my son and I we have already taken 2 deer off the property this year. My brother may kill me if I get another off of there before he gets to hunt (he doesn’t bow hunt even though he owns a nice bow) during gun season next week. I am making the decision to not hunt with a gun this year, even during gun season. So even if you see me wearing orange I may not have a gun with me... lol... Finally got out to scout the state park I’m hunting in December. Honestly didn’t see a whole lot for sign. Saw several deer though including 2 massive bucks (which are sadly off limits for me) Found a random water hole on top of a ridge and several bedding areas. hell of a deer ill buck! very cool character. Got some good news today, stitches out and out of the cast and into a boot. Can’t put weight on it for another month but i’m ready to get in a blind. Going to try and get in tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I'm out now. So far I've seen a little 4 pointer, a doe, and 3 fawns. No sign of the big guys yet though. The last few days some of my 2.5 and 3.5 y/o's have been chasing some. I know some farms are blowing up with rut activity right now. Sent from my LG-H931 using Tapatalk
