Going to go for my first sit in the morning, cold front came through a few days ago and got the deer moving. SE wind, not a good wind for our property but I’m going to try and get out there anyways.

Early season bow change, Hoyt hyper flex, grouping was from 20 yards. Now just hoping for a big one to walk in front of me.

I'm out right now. So far I've just had a group of 4 young bucks come through. The bigger of the two were sparring on and off.

Checked a couple cameras on the way out of the stand yesterday. I'm still getting this guy on a couple of my cams one to two times a week, but he's still nocturnal. I'm thinking he'll go about 145".[IMG]

My condolences to you and your family, NebMo.

The weather here has finally dried out and farmers are getting back into the field. Hopefully the beans next to where my tree stands are set up get cut soon. That should light that spot up.

Meanwhile, the creek is down so I plan to hunt my creek crossing spot one more time this evening and then take down my blind and move it to another property.
