Thanks I did forget that one year. Had a busy day but I just got it all re scored and measured twice and got same both times. I think I added wrong last night. Came up with 116-1/8. Check out my card before I submit so I don’t get chased down with torches and pitchforks.

 

I’ll go ahead and post it let me know if any discrepancies

I add 37 /8 not 30/8.
3+7+4+4+4+2+7+6=37 to be 4-5/8 added to 46 for 50- 5/8 left side
So 52-3/8 +50-5/8 =103+14=117
Double check.

Hey all,

As I sit here waiting for my opportunity to help the team, I cannot tell ya'll how envious I am of those in a stand tomorrow! I pray my time from January 1 thru the 4th in Ohio produces a doe. Break a leg out there! Team 11 rules! Have fun!

 

This morning is my last chance to get a buck for a while. Gun season opens up after Thanksgiving though, so I’ll take the bow out then if I have to. Good luck everybody!

 

Been in the stand since 5:30 this morning and the only deer I’ve seen was a doe I busted walking to the afternoon spot

 

I have a couple weeks before gun starts, I honestly don't think I will take a doe, my heard has been thinned down too hard for EHD, not seeing anywhere beer the numbers from 2 years ago. But I do have high hopes of connecting with a decent buck, and honestly my sites get better after gun season because I have great late season plots when they need food post-rut.

Well I’m up. Way late. Got this big 8 in the area. Heard a neighbor shot a good one so we thought maybe it was him. Obviously not. Going to slip in there and try to outsmart (get lucky) him.

 

You are correct! Man I need to go back to the 3rd grade I guess. The way I wrote it down is dumb too. I won’t do that again. I came up with 7/8 off. So 117” instead of 116-1/8. @LittleChief can I amend my score? Dumb math error I counted 7/8 short first time. Should be 117” on the nose not 116-1/8. If not no biggie.

Who is still hunting? If we could get a couple bucks over 100 inches and a couple does down. We could come close to taking this thing.

I’ll still try to get a few days in but our gun season has come in and it last until the first week of January. In addition to that we use dogs to chase and that usually causes the deer to go nocturnal so still hunting will be difficult.
