Team 11

Area 48 in Colorado for deer and/or elk (bear too, although they are tough to find). I would love to show off my backyard! Actually, I cannot think of anything better than to help my fellow bowhunters fill their dreams-some call it "passing it forward". Get the tag and I will get the rest!

I cannot wait to see Shocker's photos!

 

This year is pretty booked for me, but we should talk about next year, Chief said. Okay, you will need to apply by the first Tuesday in April. Seriously, this invite is for anyone willing to come. Area 48 is an amazing place, and I totally enjoy sharing it. We saw so many deer this past season!

 

I typed up a long winded story for the freaks over there in the LFTS thread. They are a rough crowd and if you don’t give them details they become sort of like a lynch mob. @LittleChief knows what I’m talking about.
All in all I’m happy to recover but sad that deer suffered the way he did. I’ll get this thing properly posted. He only scores 115-6/8 but that should at least help our lead!

No I just know it can take a few days sometimes for others to post scores and I have not been able to keep up with everyone’s kills.

Way to go Shocker! Sorry I’ve been MIA this week. Just started a new job and it’s dark to dark every day. Saturdays are the only days I can get in the stand

 

I feel you! Work is kicking my butt. Had to use all PTO up when I had back surgery. I can have days off but they sting being unpaid. That and we are supposed to have 8 in my department. We have 6 and 2 guys are out. It’s pretty chaotic. I’m lucky I love what I do.

 

Yea I just didn’t know if there were any I didn’t know about that haven’t reflected in the current scores. This time of year who knows what will happen.

 

FYI I will post the score first chance tomorrow. I had it scored and all written down and I think the paper got thrown away. The deer is hanging by the antlers cause I couldn’t find my box of gambrels so I will score when I process the deer tomorrow!
