I am here and ready to play! Eleven was my jersey number throughout my soccer career. We got this! I might need some help though. I live in Colorado and this year, for the very first time in my life, I did not draw a deer tag. I have a South Dakota deer tag, and that is it for the year. I applied in several states...nothing. I am willing to travel, if someone needs some deer killed! In the past, I have always been good for at least 150 team points.

I’m here. Our hunt started on the 16th. I got my elk last Wednesday. I have a couple weeks of focusing on deer. Hopefully I can fill my deer tag here at home. Then head out to Kansas to find a deer out there.

    Update to my last post,
Hunt private land in TN, it's been a busy few years to the point I' almost quit deer hunting. But I shut my side business down, my son chose not to play fall soccer so my fall/winter schedule has freed up some.
We open last weekend in September, I may head out the evening of opening day to see what is going on.
Also have been meeting @LittleChief Chief at his hunt camp in Missouri, missed last year, but planning on going this year if available. Its a good time hanging out with nothing but woods, beers, and deers.

Bought a new to me Mathews off a forum member last year, finally got around to getting it setup for this season. Changed my arrow setup from a 400gr to a 560gr setup...I was told it should pass through any animal in north America. I'm ready to get some redemption this season.

Howdy gents! I didn't realize the teams were made already. This is my first season after leaving the service, and I'm stoked to put some meat in the freezer! I hunt in both north central and southeast PA, and I've seen enough deer for this year and next! Season opener here is October 4. I was lucky enough to get 6 doe tags and a buck tag this year. Happy hunting!

As of 27Aug, we just need 3 more to check in and we are off to the races.
We will need a Team Leader, mainly to be a point of contact and ensure we submit the proper photos, etc.

We also need a Team Name.

Used ChatGPT to make some dumb names for fun; not the official list, but we can start to throw names at the wall.
    1. Rack’d at 11
    • Sleek, edgy, and loud — like turning the volume (or the buck count) past 10.

    • Great for a bold logo: clean type, maybe a stylized rack or arrow through the name.
    2. The Rack Pack 11
    • Fun, retro vibe (play on “Rat Pack”), super easy to design: antlers, sunglasses, camaraderie.
    3. Eleven Point Mafia
    • Serious but with swagger. Sounds like you don’t miss. Ideal for a bold logo with antlers and maybe a silhouette of a compound bow.
    4. E11even Racks Deep
    • Visually unique with the “E11” and perfect for a modern, stacked logo. Clean and cool.
    5. Operation: Rack 11
    • Military/special ops theme. Think camo, mission patch-style logo, skull + antlers.
    6. Rack Ops: Unit 11
    • Tactical and humorous — great for a fake elite bowhunting squad logo.
    7. House of E11even Racks
    • Regal, ridiculous, and perfect for a Game-of-Thrones-style crest with golden antlers.
    8. Project Rack 11
    • Makes you sound like you're engineering the ultimate trophy buck. Perfect for a science/military mashup logo design.
    9. Eleven Racks Later
    • Clean, cinematic parody. Could mimic a movie poster logo or horror film aesthetic.
    10. Rack Hard: E11ven Reloaded
    • Over-the-top action movie parody. Perfect for a logo with flames, arrows, and ripped antlers.

I do not mind taking the lead. With just one deer tag so far, it will inspire me to push everyone including myself. I like the "E11even" concept. I think it would be cool if we had a deer antler transgressing the numbers and the "L". The brow tine and T1 could be straightened to form "ones"...maybe make those tines red.

Did a little digging, @Shocker99 didn't add the "99" on the sign up sheet, so his Username was "shocker"; Tagging him for fresh notification.
"Shocker" is not an active user since Feb 2024.

Tagging @Trlblzr3 & @entropyfx as well to get a fresh notification.

As for names, the spike moniker is good, here are some generated names. I kind of like #3, change it to Team 11: Spike Patrol.
These are just ideas to fill the thread until it's spike season.

Hunting Names with “Spike” + “11”:
    1. Spike 11
    2. Team Spike Eleven
    3. Unit 11: Spike Patrol
    4. Eleven Spikes
    5. Spike Rack 11
    6. The 11th Point (Ironically for a spike buck!)
    7. Spiker Eleven
    8. Straight 11 Spikes
    9. No Fork 11
    10. Eleven Horn Syndicate
    Edgier or Funny Options:
    1. #11 Buck Down
    2. Rackless 11
    3. Spikezilla 11
    4. One Point Eleven
    5. Operation Spike 11

    I'm here!

I'm an ER doc in NW Iowa. I hunt mostly private ground in Iowa. Both my main farms got hit hard with EHD last year, so I am unsure what survived the winter and what didn't. I am hoping I had some resistance as most of my big bucks got killed off in 2020, and this last year was the first year since I've have some mature age structure. Excited for the season! Have some great plots in and going to get up to put a few late fall early winter plots in tomorrow.

Good to see a lot of familiar names! Excited for the year!
