LOL, I like to hunt with anything. Plus, there's a long story as to why I couldn't bow hunt for some time. I'll tell that all someday in its own thread.

I must apologize in advance. I will tell you where I was in a second thread, to help keep the stories from blending together too much. :busted: :spam:

Your sit sounds about as productive as my glassing trip which netted me 267 mosquito bites and zero deer sightings.

I was at a county fair in Sandwich, IL.

Great fair. I rode this ride that just about took my life. Quite honestly, I am pretty happy I am actually typing this message tonight.

Most of my friends bailed out on this thing called the Feuerball. The spelling was about as crazy as the ride itself.

The whole time my wife was thinking, I sure hope he dies since his life insurance is paid up. She was seeing dollar signs as I was holding on for dear life.

Anyways....it was a good time. My kids went to the same fair earlier in the day with my folks. My oldest son mooched about 60 bucks worth of ride tickets off my parents.

Picked up a Badlands pack today as well. Beats the heck out of my old fanny pack. I was skeptical about the size at first. I have had that pack in my hand three different trips to Gander Mountain and put it back before I finally dropped the cash today for it.

The final thing I "GOTTA" get is a dozen new arrows before season. Other than that, I have a huge list of wants, and a very short list of needs.

    You still alive Dan?

This thread is succumbing to stagnation.

    I'm here Balls!!!!

I've been running a few bear baits the last couple days and trapping minnows for camp.

So, have you been wearing the Badlands pack around the house and on the tractor?

Dude, I have been trying to stuff everything I had in my old fanny pack into one of the side molded pockets to see how much this thing can hold. I could fit half of what I could hold in my old fanny pack in just one of the molded side pockets of the Badlands.

Needless to say, I am happy.

And yes, I would be lying to say I haven't worn it around the house.
