15 miles south of Mt. Sterling. I'm leasing with JZ and Duke.

You hang out with JZ and Duke?!?!

I don't know if I can continue to :spam: with you now!

    LOL.

Actually, I told JZ and Duke we should meet up sometime.....but they never delivered. I was thinking about meeting up for a pre-season meal since JZ wines and dines at nice resturants. :nana:

His elk tags are in the same area I was hunting. They're only good until September 15 or 16 when archery season closes.

When I was there it was warm as hell and the elk were quiet. Its a 6pt minimum area. I had one big ass 6x6 at 94 yards....if he would have been 60 or less I would have smoked him.

See, with us starting to combine in early October most years, Elk is actually a much better fit as far as hunting goes. Early September isn't slow for us, but it isn't nearly as stressful and busy as harvest time come October.

Work on your 100 yard shots next time bro. Never know when you gotta pull them out. :lmao:

LOL....I haven't actually met them yet. Talked with Duke on the phone. They had a thread on HNI back in May looking for two more guys to lease with them, as the others backed out. Troy (Shed) and I were going to, but he couldn't. So my buddy Johnny and I are doing it. Should be a blast, as it sounds like a great piece of land.

Well, I was using 1 pin out to 267 yards, but there was one twig in the way, so I let him go.

You won't find two guys that have more fun I can guarantee you that!

Atleast we could meet up at a fashionable resturant like Arby's or something.

I am under the assumption you can never have too much land to hunt. Plus, sharing a lease with two other guys that know what they are doing makes it all the more sweeter!

I love to hunt everywhere. I have to make a phone call tomorrow and maybe hit Saskatchewan again this year. I'm hoping I can make it work.

Make sure you use it for Team 11 this year. Justice would be rightfully served.

Keep the 267 yard pin as well.

Dude, could I just tag along on your hunting adventures, carry your bow for you or something?

I don't think I would even need to hunt. Heck, I could carry around a thermos to keep you warm in one hand and an ice cold victory Leinenkugel in the other after you double lung stuff.

I'll be your patsy or something. Just to see Alberta and Saskatchewan.

LOL! I just started hunting this many places last year. Some day, maybe I can be just like Iamyourhuckleberry!

Come along, always need someone to pack! Gotta warn you though, not all are bow hunts.
