I am hoping he warms up our "Victory Wagon" with a bruiser bull or something. Maybe even a bear too. We'll keep it lively.
Colorado never interested me. I guess because you hear about so many people going there and seeing a lot of other people. I'm sure its not like that everywhere, just a sterotype. A good friend of mine owns an outfitting business there. I traded him a group fishing trip here at my camp for the trip. I'm heading back there this year with him, but I'll be after whitetail and mule deer. We'll be about 40 miles east of there in the foothills. Should be a blast. He wants me to come back elk hunting next year. It would make for some awesome film. He's the one with the camera.
Dude, that is a wonderful trade!! Nothing against your camp or fishing but I think you got the better end of the deal!! If you didn't have the outfitter friend, do you have any other outfitters in Alberta to recommend?
Ummmmmm, I grew up in Chippewa Falls, WI and still live there in the winter. I know most of the Leinenkugel family and went to school with some of them. One of my family's grocery stores is the largest retailer of Leinenkugels in the country. I guess that's a big yes!
Okay....that might have to be included in our team name somehow! Probably the coolest pic on the net and I don't even drink that much.
Well, does your buddy have a website or something. You have really peaked my interest with this Alberta stuff. :d I have an uncle through marriage that lives in Colorado, so maybe that was drivin' the Colorado bug.
Hmmmm, I'll be heading down there to the lease in late October.......maybe we can hook up somewhere along the way.
