Well, here it is boys. Glad to have everyone on the team and should be fun. At least we know the competition a little better and don't have to worry about hurting anyone's feelings with the smack.

    Later.

Hey Kel, do you have room for two trophies? I'll have to take the family picture down and put another shelf up to make room!

You guys would be stellar if you didn't have to count on Bols to put some bone on the ground! He should give you a solid 50 points

I've already been dusting the mantle Dan. I've got more tags to fill this year than ever. Probably wont be posting much over the next week, so see you all when I get back from Colorado with plenty of pics.

First elk hunt...I'm pumped. Like a kid in a candy store. Leave tomorrow night. I got a bear tag based on the recommendation of the outfitter. Apparently it's not uncommon to see a shooter while stalking elk.

Kelly, this hunt sounds awesome my friend. Good luck while you are out there. Take plenty of pics and make sure to smack a big ole bull. Maybe even a bear?!?

We'll hold the fort down while you are gone!

Dan, those pictures are simply beautiful. That is some breath-taking scenery. Us flatlanders just don't see sights like that.....

I am desperately trying to get out Elk hunting next year. I sacrificed an elk hunt this year so my wife and I could take the Mexico trip.

The only problem is, I want to go with some friends if I take a spectacular trip like that. You might ask, what is the problem....well, none of my local friends hunt or show the desire!

Either way, I can see why you are missing the elk trip this year Dan. Thumbs up man....thanks for sharing the photos.

Anyone know our other teammate, mcorso?

If he doesn't show, I think Dan called dibs on Hunsucker. LOL

Balls, Alberta was a blast and some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. We were hunting only 12 miles from Banff National Park.

No idea who he is. He's been posting over at HNI in his teams thread, but thats about it. He hasn't been a member there long.

Let's give him 5 more minutes and then nab Hunsucker! Hell, we don't even have to count his first buck, we'll take his second....or even third!

Totally, or we could technically spam up our own team thread and just pass them back and forth. Would could play a game or something to pass some time.

I am thinking Colorado for my first Elk trip, but if someone could twist my arm hard enough I might consider Alberta. How did you go about getting to Alberta? Through an outfitter? Or DIY?
