Not what I wanted to show up on my camera... HUH, dam hogs.. I was reviewing my camera and was wondering why the deer kept staring in a general direction.. So far it looks like to be a solo hogs , if he shows up during shooting hours he's toast.

Gentlemen! M3shadle checking in. Guess I’m the last one to the party! Looking forward to the year with you guys. I’m hunting southern Wisconsin and have a late bow season trip to IL. I’ve been a decent contributor almost every year, should be more of the same this time around

Welcome m3shadle!! Looks like everyone is here.

I put a food plot in this weekend and got 2 stands hung today. It's getting closer, I can smell it.

Hell yeah man! We were starting to worry about ya lol looking forward to see what you can put down! Seems like we have a pretty good crew here and definitely have a fighting chance!

As for captain I really don’t know what all is needed as far as being a captain but I wouldn’t think we would need a ton done. Also the logos look awesome! I think it’ll be easier once everyone is able to give their phone numbers and we can just text to communicate rather than having to hop on the forum all the time. Which I’m sure a lot of us forget about. I know I can be guilty of it lol

Suncrest has all the numbers. If you go to his profile you’ll see a box that says message bud.

So far I got 5 numbers for the group text. Marc, Kyle, Jim, Doug and Andy. Pm me your number if ya want in on the nonsense hah. Also I’ll stay as captain if you guys are good with it. I’ll have enough service to keep it rolling. I was supposed to go for a long time now it’s just a week or two

I wont be out until Mid October mostly because I take my vacation then and hunt hard through November. Heading back up this Friday near Ely to Bear hunt again. Man the wolves are thick up there. Had one come in briefly while bear hunting then at night about 5 miles away from where I was hunting they were howling. Splurged and purchased a Mathews V3 yesterday. Holy tack driver. Absolutely cannot wait to sit in stand with it.

I still got my bigger bucks living on the farm, I have to wait till October 2nd to get after them tho. In the past the mature bucks ventured to the neighbors once hard horn. We select cut 3 years ago and made some killer bedding on 3 different areas of the prop. It holds them in multiple winds and I been watching them go into and out of the 3 different main bedding areas and then check on weather underground to see the wind and weather for that day. I’m getting correlation on all 3 of the bedding areas with certain winds.

Hopefully the mature bucks stick around for you. Good luck!

As for the group text, I'm not much of a texter but I'll check in here pretty frequently.
