You going to change your avatar this year or you going to carry on our championship / my Name on your avatar good luck Dan
I don’t have many cameras out yet (only 2) and this particular camera went bad shortly after this photo… But this is a pretty good one that’s on the hit list for sure! He’s coming up out of a creek bed in this photo - typically use that Creek bed as access to a couple stand locations on my Parke County big woods property.
Going to check 3 of my cameras now. I need to activate the cell plan so I don’t have to go out there lol. Waiting to do it till the fence is down on our plot. This isn’t our main hunting spot as it’s only 55 acres but will sit on it depending on time and wind. Late season this spot will shine. My main properties are 180 acres and 310 acres. On a couple of us hunt each spot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It’s looking like it will be a brutal hot opening weekend, I may get out there once to get the kinks out and stretch my legs. Maybe that will lead to wanting to hunt all weekend though Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
Beans are looking amazing! Not a lot on cameras but I was expecting that. Most bucks show up mid October. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Those soy beans look great. You plant those yourself? How big of a plot? In the past I’ve had a lot of luck playing soy beans. I sold my tractor earlier this year so I am not sure when I will be able to plant again - I love planting foodplots.
Nice lookin beans! Deer are hammering them out here. Going to be good early season hunting setting up on them Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Ya my buddy has all the stuff to do it. It’s roughly 6.5 acres. We have them fenced off and will be dropping it in the next few weeks. A few deer have gotten in but the browse is minimal. It’s going to make for some great hunting early and late. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We’ve been able to keep them off of it so far so. Once we drop the fence it will be an all you can eat buffet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Moved a camera off a miners site that had only been producing doe for the last 2 months. Moved it to a mock scrape. Put out a camera on my public spot where I located a community scrape in a heavy travel corridor that I feel really good about. Breaking down and scouting some 500+ acres isn’t easy. The property is a mix between mature hardwoods and a massive amount of rolling dense crp / cat tails / marsh of which I don’t have a ton of experience hunting. I’m pretty fired about the public lane challenge that it will present - but I know the neighborhood like the back of my hand and the potential this property holds is tremendous. Hope to get 2 or 3 more cameras out by the end of the week on my other property.
Hello Team 11, my name is Doug. Live in cental Texas but hunted East Texas for the last 5 yrs. This year I finally got on a lease in E.Tx Archery only for the season which I'm excited about. Right now I have 5 Spypoint cameras out at the property but lately been getting nothing but hogs and a doe once in a while. I will be hunting both public and my lease this yr and the season starts Oct 2nd.. ready to go
