Also shot a nice doe on New Year’s Eve! 13 yards out of our new blind. We decided to take guns and bows so we could thin some does without making a lot of noise. She ran about 40 yards and was done. Got a video of the shot but can’t seem to post it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Going to pull my cameras down and possibly look for the big boys sheds. He was so consistent coming out of the plot just before sunrise and then disappeared. Still holding out hope that I’ll get back out, but it’s not looking good. I’ve had a cough and plugged up head since 12/19 and I just can’t shake it. Get better for a day or two, then back it comes. Sorry I didn’t take a doe earlier, could have had 50 more points.

It happens to the best of us man! Some tears you tag out and some years you can’t make it happen! I had a fun season but was ready to have it end. I was worn out! I’m sitting in Wisconsin at a school for my sergeant promotion. It’s been a stressful last week. Got here last Thursday and am here till the 3rd. I want to go home so bad and go shed hunting!
