I filmed my buddy Justin yesterday morning and layed down 10 minutes of footage plus got the shot too. He shot at a doe but he will look for it today because it poured shortly after we got down to do recovery segment

Well I got back from the Dominican Republic yesterday and now sitting in a deer stand this morning.

I just couldn't resist taking one more day of vacation so I could hunt the opener. Haven't seen anything yet this morning except for a ton of squirrels.

Glad to see some deer down already! That's a great start for our team!

I would be ok if the temps here in Illinois would take a nose dive but it doesn't look like that is going to happen this week.

It's 80 degrees right now on stand and I am sweating up a storm. God bless scent free spray and clothing!

Goodluck I'm going out after work but the deer haven't been leaving the tall feed fields until after dark. You never know though

sat this morning and evening on an oak flat in the swamp, saw over a dozen different bucks and probably 20 or so doe. all little bucks. If you have white oaks on your hunting properties check em, if acorns are hitting the ground there will be deer on emm, lots of deer! hunting again in the am!

As I figured sat til dark but nothing came out of the feed. Drove down the road and the deer were leaving the feed and going to an alfalfa field. Hope they get it cut soon. Especially before rifle season

There is snow in the forecast in parts of ND on Friday and Saturday. Windy too. Next week should be better here. It's been pretty slow so far this season. Hopefully some colder weather will help.

    Good luck!

13 should be a lucky number for tonight. Hope you get the shooter.

I saw nothing last night. Pulled the SD card though the saw a decent buck on it. Second biggest I have seen on cams this year. I refreshed the bait so should see something tonight if I can get out. The SD card had 1008 pics on it. Over 900 of them were within the first two days of refreshing the pile last time. Hopefully the buck will come before dark tonight.

    Good luck!

It's supposed to be nasty here tonight and tomorrow. I pulled a card last night leaving one of my stands. I see there is a bit of activity at the location so I am going to move or add a stand this afternoon. The rain tomorrow should clean my scent off and hopefully get to hunt Sunday afternoon/evening. Here is a pic of the buck I'd take at this spot if offered a shot. Not the biggest I have seen on camera this year but the most consistent at least.
