    Plots look great pastorandrew!

Figure since some seasons have opened and some are about to I would remind everyone what will be needed for submitting to the scorecard.

    Of course archery only....

All entries must be accompanied by a minimum of TWO (2) photos of the hunter with the deer and your archery equipment in the picture. If you can manage to take one picture, you can also manage to move 4 feet to the side and take another one. It's not that hard. There will be NO exceptions to this rule. Two photos with hunter, deer, and bow in photo or it won't count. If you submit a deer without two photos, it will not count. Consider this your warning. This goes for both does as well as bucks.

Along with your photo (or video) you must post the date and time in which the deer was shot.

If possible, provide a list of the following information along with your harvest photos. We want to know what kind of gear everyone is using. This is optional. If you don't list your equipment, your deer will still count.
    Bow Make/Model
    Broadhead Make/Model/Weight
    Arrow Make/Model
    Rest Make/Model

If a buck's rack scores less than 50 points, a minimum score of 50 will be applied.

I figure everyone knows how to score a buck but if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask or send me a PM.

    Good luck fellas!

Tell ya what, I usually see some of the biggest bucks of the year on stand or on camera towards the end of October. I have a good feeling about your Illinois trip. Gonna knock a slammer down! ;)

Good deal would be nice to get a couple quick does on the board. It sucks we can only shoot one deer in Colorado

Good luck Saturday. I'll be in the stand tomorrow and Friday mornings. I'm with Cowboy though with only one tag. Won't be shooting a doe this time. I will be sitting a stand I have never hunted before but have high hopes for. The wind is right and it is the only cornfield in the area this year.

Well it was a great morning even if it wasn't successful. Got set in stand by legal time and watched the world wake up. Just after sunrise I gave a grunt call and it wasn't 5 minutes later and I saw a little fork horn at 20 yards. How he got there without me seeing him I can't understand. But that is not unusual for me. Anyway, I sent him to round up his dad and bring him back. Dad must have been occupied though so forky sent his mom and two sisters to check me out. The doe must have taught the forky because she surprised me too. All four gave me plenty of opportunities at less than 20 yards but I thought I would hold out for something bigger. At least till after gun season. Then, if I still have my tag the doe will have to go.

All in all, it was a great session in the stand. I pulled the card from the cam and see there in an unfamiliar buck in the area. Not huge but may be better than the others I have pics of. Didn't get a clear head on shot of him so hard to tell how good he is.

Out again tomorrow morning in a different stand where I got the pictures of all the coyotes playing. Also where I have pics of the biggest buck in my woods. Hope to have some bloody pics later tomorrow.

    Good luck and shoot straight!

Old man, looks like you had a few good morning sits. The one tag thing must be a real killer. I've never had to deal with that here in WI for the most part. Season starts here tomorrow. Got up a little early this morning and shot 30 arrows before class. Ill go home and throw some more after work. Looking to get something on the board early. My brother from Team 10 may be filming me this opener so we will see how it goes. Good luck guys. Will check in after first sit.

Well I pulled my cam card before I left the woods this morning. I caught a new buck on it this time. Nicer than any I have seen there. So now that I know he is around he is my target. Didn't know which of the others I really wanted to shoot so it is good to see this guy. I'll be out again this evening looking for him to walk by.

Good luck to you guys getting out tomorrow. Shoot straight!

That single tag is driving me nuts. This is the second year ND has done this. It is actually for the better after the last few winters we've had. It has been really tough on the herd. Not near as many as there were five years ago.

Team 11 on the board! Congrats. I'm jealous of the multiple tags. Looking forward to the pics.
