OK, I have my Avatar changed as well. I am starting to get a bit excited for the season. I can start bow hunting in 2 weeks however, the weather is so hot and it really is not that much fun for me to head out in 90 degree weather. Not to mention bugs that bite and sting are all over the place. Bring on the cool temps and changing of the leaves.
Hey guys just checking in. Glad to be a part of the team. Some of you may know me from over on Huntingnet. I've been around awhile over there. My name is Chris and I live in west central IL and hunt in Morgan and Scott counties. Last year was the first year I haven't taken a buck for some time. I hope to get back on track this fall. I will admit that I am running a little behind this year on my scouting and preparations because my wife and I just had our first baby in mid July. I just got my cameras out a week or so ago but so far I haven't really gottin' any pics to write home about. Here is the best buck I have gotten on film this year and a few that I'm hoping are still runnin' around from last year. Talk to you guys soon.
Great buck. I haven't seen anything over a 6 point so far in my scouting. Hopefully NY produces something. Going up this weekend to look around.
Went out for 2 hours to hang a camera and do a short walk post rain for a couple days. Walked up on 2 doe. No buck. Will see if the camera is stolen by Wednesday or if there are any deer on the cam. Surprisingly bug free morning in Delaware.
