Thanks guys. Glad to be on the team. We have a lot of team mates from some good big buck states so it looks like we could make a run at this thing. My part of Michigan isn't good for big bucks (actually most of the state isn't), but BowFreak is from a great part of the state and like he said, he has a few 4.5 year olds he is chasing this year. So I'm hoping you can pick up any slack from me if necessary BowFreak. ;) Hopefully you can get at least one of them before they go wandering around chasing tail and get themselves killed. Hopefully you get two of them! :tu:

You are definitly right about our state. I think you will put down a nice buck this year my friend. I am really excited to try and chase these whitetails around this year. Here is a pic of one of the deer I will be chasing. This buck lives on a 29 acre tract of land. I thought I had him figured out right before gun season hit but I was wrong! I found his shed within 35 yards of where I expected to find it. TALL 10!!!!!!!!!!

Here are a few IA boys I will be watching this year. The first one is a 7/8 year old the other two are young and will be good bucks someday.

    Hello everyone,

Sorry it took so long to check in, im the process of moving and waiting to close on new house and have no internet. Looks like we have a great team set up here. I am 35 years old and live and hunt in Wisconsin, I have 600 acres in Pepin county which borders Buffalo and also have 2 other farms. I will get some pictures of the bucks in my area up as soon as I can. looking forward to seeing what everyone is after and hearing some great stories.

    Welcome PY.

That shed measured up to 66 1/8. I have high hopes for him this fall. The land owner just called today to tell me that the Tall 10 is back hanging out around his yard. The buck likes to cut a corner in the back of his yard. Headed out to hang a camera!!

:rock:That's a real nice Michigan shed BowFreak. Southern Michigan bucks tend to make a pretty big jump in antler size at 4.5 so he should be in the 170's this year. He might even break 180". That would be sweet!

A 7-8 year old would be an AWESOME trophy kmod!!!

Wow [IMG] Holy smokes PY_HUNTER! That would be sweet! It's very hard to get permission to hunt the good areas around here so I'm mainly a public land hunter. One of these days I will be checking out Wisconsin's public land.

By the looks of it I'm the weak link in the chain, but I do have a KY hunt planned. Plus I'm hoping to work out another hunt somewhere so I might be able to contribute a decent buck.

This is a buck I like to call "Slick" I havent been able to get any pics of him this year so far or havent been able to glass him. The locations I was getting pictures and glassing him last year, now is planted in corn. I know this deer was able to make it through the gun season and the Michigan winter. I know this deer pretty well. I wasnt able to close the gap last year on two different hunts. Looking forward to possible seeing him and closing the deal this year. Here is SLICK from last year.

    Welcome aboard PY!

Nice Buck BowFreak he should better this year. He looks like a 3 year old in the pics.

Deerslayer that old buck would make a nice trophy but I know there are better bucks on the land I hunt!! I saw 3 bucks last year that were 160+ and a couple 130 - 140 3 year olds.

Just remember boys, we dont all need to kill 160's to win. We all just need to kill A buck. And a doe. Does are 50 points.
