Congrats tblood1. Whats new with everybody? I have been out a little here and there. I have been seeing does and small bucks on every sit. Just waiting for these bigger bucks to get up on their feet during daylight hours. I have 13 days off starting Ocober 27!!!!!!!!!!! Really looking forward to putting some serious time in the woods. Anybody else taking any vacation time this year for hunting?
Hey all. Sorry for being MIA for bit here, life has been busy but,I have been in the woods on the weekends. I'm hunting at my property in Michigan but, haven't seen anything yet. Not even on my trail camera. Now that the weather is finally turning colder this week. I'm looking for more movement from our four legged friends. I did find a scrape and some rubs close by,that's always a good sign! I'll be hunting every weekend and when/if I get something, I'll be sure to share with the rest of you. Congrats to all of my awesome team mates who have been successful up to this point. Thanks for holding me up. I'll do my best to contribute.

I've only been out four times now. Had a buck at 15 yards, but he was just a youngster. Tall tines tho'. He has some real potential. I have to get the last of my produce in and cover some plants that might live another week if they beat tonight's frost. (I sell a lot of this stuff so the longer I can keep it going, the better) The first hard frost depresses me but after the garden is good and dead, I'll be full bore into hunting mode. Hopefully, I'll get out tomorrow or Saturday. I think you'll find yourself in deer soon Huddy! Good luck all!
My number #2 buck that I wanna kill, (Fish Hook). After having hunders of photos of this buck, he finally is showing himself during daylight hours. I have 2 cameras on the property and he is on both of them everyday the past three weeks. Going in tomorrow night and Saturday morning!

I will be out to the hunting property tomorrow to check cams and hunting in the evening. With the weather getting cooler around here I wanna be out there as much as I can. :D

Actions starting to pick up here in Illinois! Ive heard numerous people telling me there seein bucks chasin and a few big ones have been killed already. Got a pic this morning of a dandy 14 point and about a 130 8 point layin in the bed of a truck. Tell me that aint a good morning!!!. Went to wally and picked me up some tinks buck urine and breakin out the rattle bag in the mornin. Ive got 4 scrapes all around the stand i shot my little buck on so hopefully its a nicer one visiting them. If my trail cam wouldnt have junked out id know for sure. But ill kick it old school and keep my hopes high thats its a dandy! Happy huntin Team 11!!
