Glad we are all checked in...that was fast! Ill get a picture of my favorite buck tomorrow and post it. I am hunting a lot of new property this year. I still have a couple of spots I know pretty well, but I lost my biggest property this spring, but I gained permission on 5 new farms totaling about 3000 acres. I will be trying to figure these spots out. That being said, I know there are good deer present, and I've got some really nice ones on my other two farms as well. As far as does, I can't promise I will shoot one early as I will be concentrating on tweaking my strategy for the new farms...but in all fairness I said I wouldn't shoot one early last year and killed 2 on opening day...I will shoot a bunch eventually. We use the meat and I also give a bunch to a couple local families...December is usually my doe slaying time. I have several corn/bean plots that really pull deer late season. I will be pretty busy though this year. Late sept I'm headed to Wyoming for antelope, and my wife drew an archery elk tag for Kentucky..That season opens Oct 17th, so I will be focusing on getting her an elk...hopefully I can smack a buck somewhere in between all that. I have 9-10 bucks that are 4+ years old on camera in Indiana, plus 4 or 5 in Illinois...we'll see how it goes...good luck to everyone

I usually try and get a doe down right away, helps build the confidence for me and then I take the first week of November off from work. So who wants to be Captain and lets see how creative we are with team names?

"Skywalker and the Stormtroopers"!! That's great and it's hilarious!

That would make Skywalker the captain, right? :)

Here's a couple of names I thought of.

    Treestand Terrorists
    Bad Boys of the Bow
    The Bowhunting eleven
    Archery Anarchists
    Archers Apocalypse

I'd like to hear some more.

    Blessings...........Pastorjim

Royals will be even scarier if Gordon comes back healthy. I'm pulling for a Jays/Mets World Series, but we'll see.

Team name doesn't much matter to me, just as long as we like it for next year too, after we win this year obviously

[IMG]best one so far. Not too excited cause it's a night pic. It's from my old homemade stand. It's a real low quality cam that I won at a 3d shoot
