    Yes, I shot the fergie. I'll try to put tape on him today just to confirm but pretty sure he wont go over 50, lol. I'll get him posted this week.

    Took my oldest out for his first bowhunt Saturday night. Stayed off the phone so we could enjoy the moment. We sat on the edge of a small food plot on public. About 4:45 we heard grunting and something walking out of a thicket about 70 yards away.I did a little grunting and bleating. Turned out to be a spike that circled and came in from the far side of the plot. He got to about 45 yards and was coming in when the wind swirled just enough that he got nervous and bolted. That was all we saw.

    Did you ever get this posted?

    Is anyone still getting after it? I am still hunting. We have another youth weekend coming up Jan 6-7 and archery runs all the way to the end of February. I am hoping to put at least three more in the freezer before it is over.

    I’m still trying to put a buck on the board I had 2 really nice bucks showing up until some dogs came in and are hanging out now I’m not going to hold out for one of the nice bucks just something a little bigger than a 4pt is all I’m looking for got till January 1st I’ve got December 21 to January 2 off so hopefully I can get it done

    My season is pretty much over. The state I live is a dog chase and I participate, so the bow has been put away.

    Finally got the fergie posted. Anyone still out grinding? Our season closes Jan 1. Taking the kids out waterfowl hunting tomorrow. Not sure if I will be getting out for deer again this season. Maybe on Monday.

    I am still hunting for the freezer. Almost got a doe last night. I have the final youth weekend with my boys Jan 6-7 and archery until the end of February. I will be hunting as often as I can to out as much meat in the freezer as possible.
