Sorry for my m.i.a. lately. Congrats to everyone's success on our team. I am in official withdraw panic syndrome mode knowing my 3 week rutcation/off grid as much as possible-cation is really about over!!! I have to be back to work Monday morning!!! My days have all ran together and most of my memory gone with the smoke!! It was a wonderful 3 weeks for just about everything possible but deer hunting. The Temps well above average with much to zero precep and almost a total lack of wind for days!!! I did manage to bag a doe and a decent buck with my bow, so points will be incoming. I believe the doe was Nov 1st, could of been late oct not sure with out a little checking pics. Buck was Nov 7th I believe, got his head boiled already but have not scored him yet(I'm guessing somewhere north or south of 125, a few inches). I'll try and post a pic of both, official 2 pose pics won't be till I get back to my puter at work!!
He got another one last night. Between the 2 off us we got 3 deer in 1 week. My youngest son had a shot opportunity yesterday morning on a doe but the scope kept fogging up because he was breathing so heavy.
Well, I went all in on the nontypical, and lost. I had a third encounter with him at 35 yards but he went downwind of me and took off. I guess I'm eating Kansas tag soup this year. I'm heading back home in the morning so I can be home for Thanksgiving. Congrats to everyone who scored so far, it just wasn't in the cards for me this year.
I am keeping track correctly? We have a fergie buck from @snuff and a buck and a doe from @ILL BUCK to go on the scorecard? Anything else I missed? Been busy with family stuff this weekend. Tentatively planning a hunt for Friday.
I haven’t killed a buck yet the one I shot a while back I couldn’t find shot him to high hopefully I will get one after Tuesday got 5 days to get it done if nothing happens that I don’t know about just starting to heat up here had a spike chasing and grunting up a storm yesterday Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
