I’ve saw over 60 deer today they are flooding into the bean field with this cold snap I shot a doe this evening had a tag and I like to donate one every year when she started blowing at me I knew it was her time to go so off to the food pantry she goes ... I’ve seen a lot of the young bucks I have had on camera all year glad they made it through gun season and I saw one of the mature bucks I’ve had on camera on his feet this morning hopefully tomorrow is just as good and a big one walks within range and presents himself for a good shot

I felt surrounded all day it gets that way at times around here where there is food there will be deer in late season
Season is getting close as to the end but I’m gonna try a couple more times the single digit weather has the deer hitting the crop fields hard and I still have good bucks on camera
I guessed him to be around the 140 mark measured out to be 143 and some change not to shabby for an 8 pointer
Had to hunt through the cold temps but he was on a pattern and stuck to it I moved a couple of times the last two weeks to get on him the first move I left myself about 60 yards short of the trail he was using to make his way to the bean field second move got me in the right spot and the encouraging thing is after I shot him I saw 12 more bucks two that will be real big next year
Nice to lay the wack down wack a doo. That’s a great buck Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
