Well boys I let us down on Friday. I rattled I'm my biggest buck ever and shot over his back. He came in on a charge to 5 yards. Like an idiot I tried shooting almost straight down and missed my biggest buck
Such a rookie move! I learned a valuable lesson though. Here's a pic of him [IMG]

Great job Wack A Doo on the Doe... good eating there.

I went out Saturday and sat all day didn’t see a single Deer (again) this has become the norm the last 6-7 times out, I did have a Fox 25yds run from my left past me actually have a nice video of it... then had a cat to my left crossing the stream at 7yd, this is sadly the best action I’ve had in a while...

Went today only till 12:00 (got some family things to tend to this evening and didn’t see a thing again so got down sooner then I was expecting) man it’s so slow on this lease I am going to do some Public Land on Wednesday, temps are only suppose to be in the low 40’s for a high, the area is over 35mins from me but have had success in the past and still have places marked on my Hunting app... so just breaking up the norm here, I’m slowly forgetting what seeing a deer on stand looks like... I know I’m sounding like a cry baby but this is a frustrating season to say the least... I haven’t seen a deer in Bow range this season...

Wac-a-doo he's got a rack more like a caribou than a whitetail! Very unique for sure, hope you get a chance at him.

BukFvre that's to bad about the miss, he's a beautiful buck!

If you have not seen the jeff fox worthy incomplete deer hunter series specifically incomplete deer hunter 3 I believe you need to there’s a portion dedicated to a white tail buck contest where Jeff foxworthy enters a buck that’s been mounted with a caribou rack instead of a whitetail and that’s all I can think of right now

It may not be in number 3 but one of the incomplete deer hunter movies has that in it

Hey guys! Sorry I've been out of the loop (midterms, sick kids, and sitting in a tree). I struck out in Nebraska, ended up missing a giant 4x4 muley and another nice 2x3. I'm in Tennessee now and I'm on the board! My parents bought 120 acres here and I was blessed to be able to go out and kill the first deer there! Shot was 23 yards. I missed a nice 8 point about 15 minutes later standing in the exact same spot. Been a great week though and I've got two more days to try and kill a nice buck. doe2.jpg doe.jpg
