Can't believe Apr is nearly here - season isn't all that far away for me..... At least the snow is gone so if it stays fairly dry should at least be an enjoyable hunt...

Our season is Apr 10 - May 23... It's a couple of hours to my hunting area so most of my hunting time is on the weekends - but usually enough birds to get into some decent action....

We started the 25th of March. I've been out a lot, but so far haven't drawn my bow. Had three gobblers going nuts 15 yards behind the blind yesterday. Just couldn't get 'em to cross the fence. Our season runs through the end of May, so I'm not too worried about getting a few good shot opportunities. Good luck guys!

We're on the board fellas. I finally dropped the string on a big tom this afternoon. I'll get some pictures up tomorrow.

Congrats on the Bird Big Lefty.
We got 2 on the board, I got one this morning also. Had to wait for the wife to get home this afternoon to take a few pictures.
It was a hell of a fight that went on for several hundred yards but I won and thats all I'm saying. I didn't have that much trouble when I clubed a bear to death. with a stick ;).

    Wow guys, nice shootin!!!

Can't believe we have 2 on the board... Makes me feel like I better get out there and contribute :-)

Not sure what the deal is with the team numbers.... But heck with 2 birds on the ground already, we got a shot at going 100% on this thing....

Congrats Sliverflicker! Unfortunatlely my bird was shot late afternoon, so I wasn't able to get him weighed on certified scales. I also don't have any pics of mysyelf, my bow and the bird in the same frame, but the hunt was recorded on video so I hope that will suffice. It really is a shame because that bird was heavy and proudly displayed an 11" beard. I've got two more NE tags and a S.D. tag in my pocket so hopefully I will come through with a similar bird that can be officially scored. If not, I'm not too worried about it, any turkey with a bow is an accomplishment.

Thats a bummer for sure Big Lefty, It would have been a good one to score. Good luck filling those other tags.
