Im down with the name Taggin Turkeys so I guess if we dont hear back from the rest of the team we'll just make it that
I like Team Taggin turkeys! It is a great name! I have hunted two days my season started april 1st So everyday after school I have been getting out! Hopefullly I shoot a big tom soon
I have been on two afternoon hunts so far! We have seen 4 big toms they just haven't came into range yet, they are all henned up so it is hard to get them into the decoys or calls. Any tips?
My season starts April 21st and I usually tag out within the first morning so hopefully i can get my first turkey with a bow
Any way you can get yourself to the area they are entering the field? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Guys Im here, sorry about taking so long to check in. Been a busy week and my season doesn't begin till May. If I missed out, let me know! Looks like I might have.
I think youre good to go. I think we decided our name would be team taggin turkeys and thats about it.
Well guys I entered my bird so we are on the board. He scored 55 pts. Good luck to you guys! Name sounds good. Brad for team captain.
I second this. Sometimes being in the right place at the right time works best. Bowhunting Toms is all about this in my opinion.
Sounds like were off to a good start. If everybody agrees on it I'll take on captain. Signs are looking good where I hunt so I'm currently counting down the days.
In the morning will be hunt number seven. Last few hunts I've had jakes coming in. Then today there was a tom that had a beaard dragging on the ground! He was hanging out with two hens and they were small enough to slip under the barbwire fence, unfortunately he got stuck when he tried getting through. Anyways we roosted all the birds tonight so the morning should be productive.
I watched from afar with my binos a nice Tom mated with three hens. Ohio season doesn't start until third week in ohio
