This little dude wants to be on our score card! I put food out to keep the deer away from neighboring gun hunters and this guy is showing up daily. He will be on the list next year...

Shot a good one tonight. The widest deer I have ever shot and might be the second biggest.

They definitely look different than normal deer. Different animal.

Measured the buck. He came out to be 126 with some change. He would of be been around 133 ish. But with broken brown. If I am correct he only three mass measurements on the right

All bucks always have 4 mass measurements on both sides. Number of points doesn't matter. Always 4 mass measurements.

Always 4 mass measurements regardless of number of points. A spike gets four mass measurements.

Good luck if you get out his weekend. I was hoping to, but it is unlikely. Our oldest had stomach Sunday -Wednesday, went to school today and has been throwing up worse than he was at the beginning of the week. Unfortunately, our youngest brought home a different stpmach in the middle of the week and now our oldest seems to have that one. It is worse than the onehe had a few days ago.

Good luck with that cantexian. Our second oldest hasn’t been to school since thanksgiving. Over 100 fever everyday. I’m not sure if will get an extra 50 points. We will plenty of deer for the year. If I go i make it a mission to get a turkey. Good luck fellas and stay safe. Hope you kids feel better soon.

Well, my wife ended up taking our oldest to the ER at the Children’s hospital last night. Because we were worried he was gerting dangerously dehydrated. They got home around 1 am after some tests to make sure it wasn’t anything more than a bad stomach bug. Our middle son started throwing up while they were gone.

My wife suggested I take our youngest out to scout and “hunt” I may do that this afternoon if it is not pouring rain outside. Right now, it looks like it will be.
