I screwed up last year and didn’t add the 50, would have put us in the running. Had three deer in freezer already between son and I. With no set target buck this year, doe balls will be early targets.

182 2/8, he was a beast that broke off a couple inches of a drop shedding velvet.

One of the spots i hunt has one comparable lurking around we got on cam a couple times so far. My tech illiterate buddy couldnt figure out how to get the hd pics so these were the best pics we have of him so far.

Anybody have any grand plans this year? With work the past few years i havent been able to make a real plan to do anything except throw some vacay on the board and hope for the best. Ill be hunting a bunch of public spots with some big bucks and a private spot thats not bad and 5min drive from the house

I'll be hunting small private parcels within 25 mins of the house. I had planned to hunt Indiana for the first time, but it's just not in the cards this year. I should have a week off to hunt the early rut pretty hard.

I am debating joining @LittleChief in his Missouri deer camp for a week or so sometime during the first two weeks of November. I did that a couple of years ago and had great time. Nothing concrete yet as work circumstances may prevent it. It will be close to a last minute decision if I do. Fortunately, non resident tags are OTC and the camp is only three hours from home. It is an easy trip for me if life will allow it.

That last sentence should read "if life and the wife will allow it."

Hey all! Just checking in. I see a few familiar names here. I will not be hunting this fall as much as I have in the past so hopefully I can still contribute. I recently moved to Florida from Ohio and it's going to take me some time to get established down here as far as hunting goes, whether it's public or private, I just don't know yet. I am going back to my old stomping grounds though for a week or 2 in early November hopefully. I know there are 3 or 4 giants on the farm and several that go between 130-150. I'm trying to get my lazy ass son's to get the camera's out but they haven't got around to it just yet. I know there's one I call Eye Guard and he'll gross near 200" this year. Good luck to everyone out there. Happy to be on a team even though I won't have much time in the woods this year.

Fortunately, I have an understanding wife who realizes I need my time in the woods hunting. She also knows that both of my other out-of-state trip plans fell apart because of circumstances beyond my control. She is more supportive of my hunting needs than my job is.

I like the proposed logo, "The Perfect 10", I think it's great. I just kinda glanced over the past pages. Did we get a captain yet?

Some of you might remember the buck I took on opening day of bow in Ohio last year. I did have him officially scored and they had him right at 166" I scored him myself at 166 5/8". So for not being an official scorer I think I did pretty good. I will post a few pics of the mount later on here.

With that, all team members are checked in!

I'm also good with Brad as captain and The Perfect 10 name.
